COVID-19 Response

We are Here for You

Here are some valuable resources during this time. It’s on this page that we’ll be posting current info on the ever-changing situation as well as some resources for folks at home, especially those with kids, to find ways to manage, things to do, etc.

Emmanuel’s BOGO Box

Central Florida’s food pantries are preparing for folks who need some support. We’ve set up a “Buy One Get One” Box at the parish to help with nonperishable items. If you can spare the resources, drop off one of your BOGO sale items (or any nonperishable) in our box outside the north gate. The rules are simple:

1) If you need something in the box, grab it and pay it forward.
2) Don’t be lame and remember that stealing is bad and especially bad in a pandemic.

That’s right, we’re simply using the honor system for now. Hopefully we’ll be able to help our local food banks!

Emmanuel’s BOGO Box will be ready to receive items when you are out on essential errands (please don’t make a special trip) from 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday!

A follow up to my sermon this past Sunday. JESUS WAS IN THE STORM, BUT THE STORM WAS NOT IN HIM. “Before Jesus quieted the storm, he quieted himself. This placed him in a position to bring peace to the storm. Through stillness, deliberately resting our souls in God’s grace, we may bring peace to our storms, hushing their turbulent impact on us, and blessing.” - Kirk Byron Jones. ... See MoreSee Less

Week 3’s Nature Week did not disappoint! We planted a butterfly garden on Monday morning and literally in a few hours we had a Monarch fluttering about and laying eggs. By the next Monday we had baby caterpillars! So grateful that Ms Melissa was able to stop by and teach us about ladybugs and how they help our plants. We learned about our magnificent National Parks, created botanical imprints, wall hangings, and pressing flowers. #summersatemmanuel#summersinapgd#summercamps#summerfun ... See MoreSee Less
